The Puddle Dock Restaurant is a restaurant located in Portsmouth. We are located in the Dunaway building of Strawbery Banke; although it looks authentically Colonial, this building was constructed to portray a typical New England country store for the 1964 World's Fair in New York. Wood for the building came from beams in an old barn in Dover. The building was moved to Strawbery Banke in 1967 and was used first as The Dunaway Store.
The goal of The Puddle Dock Restaurant is to serve great food to the families of Portsmouth, along with visitors and guests of Strawbery Banke Museum and Prescott Park. Please, come experience our hospitality and the beautiful views The Puddle Dock Restaurant offers. From our building to our menu, we hope you will enjoy our “Modern Colonial” feel and fare!
