Pylesville is an unincorporated community in Harford County, Maryland. The population was 693 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Baltimore metropolitan area.The town was named after Nathan Pyle who constructed a mill on Broad Creek located off of Old Pylesville RD in the year 1813. The original town consisted of just three buildings which included Nathan Pyle's home, a store house, and a general store. Until 1958, this community was served by the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad at milepost 40.3.
