Pinocchio is an Italian restaurant located in Portland. Pinocchio opened its doors in 1982 and moved to its current location in 1999. In 2008, Pinocchio underwent an extensive renovation. The soothing new décor evokes a feeling of Mediterranean life. As always, Pinocchio serves the Greek, Cypriot, and Italian food it is famous for in Astoria. The menu consists of traditional Greek dishes, such as mousaka, gyros, and a variety of souvlaki platters. The recipes are authentic and only the freshest and highest quality ingredients are used. Pinocchio also offers pasta dishes, brick-oven thin crust picas, salads and outstanding desserts. Along with the extensive dinner menu, a lunch menu is now available.
